Ron Neufeld, CPA/ABV
Ron has more than twenty years of professional experience in accounting and finance, including nine years in Deloitte’s M&A transaction services practice performing buy-side financial and accounting due diligence of target companies, reviewing clients’ deal valuation models and transaction agreements, assessing targets’ financial reporting practices and controls, and advising on acquisition accounting issues. Targets included middle-market manufacturers, technology service providers, TV film producers, network broadcast affiliates, cable TV and cellular operators, depository institutions, and other financial services firms.
Previously, Ron served in CFO and controller positions for several Los Angeles-based commercial banks for nine years, after beginning his career in KPMG’s banking and property-casualty insurance audit practices, in Los Angeles.
As a professor at Regis University, Denver, Ron developed and teaches graduate courses in M&A finance, business valuation, financial statement analysis, auditing, and financial reporting. Ron has served the university in several other roles, including recruiting students and coordinating their participation in the ACG Cup, an annual inter-collegiate M&A case study competition against other Front Range business schools. Ron also advises aspiring CPAs through the AICPA’s professional mentorship program.
