The Denver Chapter of the Association of Corporate Growth (ACG) hosts the Corporate Executive Breakfast Series, a quarterly forum geared toward C-Level executives of mid-sized companies.
In May, 2017 Josh Cashman, Managing Partner, Intrinsic Valuation, LLC moderated a panel with Timothy Galpin, Clinical Professor of Management, Colorado State University, and Robert Heilbronner, Managing Director, Integris Partners.
“Gaining the Upper Hand In M&A: How Well-Advised Buyers and Sellers
Can Each Make the Process Work for Them?”
The panel discussed how buyers and sellers have fundamentally different end-games in Mergers and Acquisitions. The “standard sale process” doesn’t always suit either party perfectly, and ideal objectives may not be met when both parties are being pulled in different directions.
Cashman, Galpin, and Heilbronner are all recognized experts from both sides of the negotiation table and they discussed in a point/counterpoint style, the current M&A challenges in today’s market, and the roles and objectives that can either make or break a deal in the end.
